Project Description/Abstract
This talk will review some of the statistical techniques used in the analysis and detection of one of the most commonly encountered eye diseases, Glaucoma. By means of some of the recent artificial intelligence algorithms, ophthalmologists are employing modern machine learning technologies such as CNN and its variates to assist in the early detection of eye symptoms in Glaucoma studies. This talk will address some of the related issues and discuss the potential of statistical ideas in these studies. Some examples will be given.
